JET PLASMA LIFT

Jet Plasma pen is a handheld plasma device that uses a cooler atmospheric temperature so does not create surface trauma like traditional fibroblast plasma. This extremely powerful device penetrates 13,000 volts of plasma through the epidermis, into the dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin stimulating high levels of collagen and remodeling the cellular structure from the inside out. When Jet plasma is mixed with oxide oxygen, ozone is created which kills surface bacteria and has inflammatory properties to aid in calming keratosis, eczema, and rosacea.

What is Jet Plasma?

  • Jet Plasma is used to tighten the skin, diminish wrinkles, diminish hyperpigmentation, treat acne, scarring, stretch marks and aids in product absorption that otherwise couldn't penetrate as deep without needle injection.

Plasma is generated in the form of gas like J plasma using a cooler temperature gas to shrink and tighten where fibroblast uses a higher temperature creating surface trauma in the form of a controlled burn.. Our device is 13,000 volts, J Plasma plastic surgeons uses is 17-18,000 volts.

Plasma is easily influenced by electromagnetic fields in a way that neutral gases are not. J-Plasma uses helium gas passed across an energized electrode. This creates a focused stream of low-current cold plasma which can be used to tighten skin. Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) is well documented within the medical community for its power to destroy bacterial cells.

Jet Plasma is the most advanced Plasma technology used to brighten and tighten skin, shrink pores and promote high levels of collagen regeneration. The Jet Plasma device was designed with Jet ( Plasma) and Cold Plasma for best results using a strong low atmospheric plasma temperature on the surface of the skin.

Jet Plasma is used for non surgical facial treatments, acne treatment, anti- inflammation, skin lightening and treatment of hyperpigmentation.

Jet Plasma works by remodeling and repairing the cellular structure of the skin from the inside out.

Although you can see immediate improvement with one treatment, a minimum of 3 sessions is suggested. The skin will continue to improve as high levels of collagen regenerate over the next 6-8 weeks. Jet Plasma can be used anywhere on the face and body.

PLASMA PEN/FIBROBLAST

Plasma Pen is the only cosmetic treatment to use plasma to eliminate excess skin. Low risk, minimal downtime and more affordable then surgery. Plasma Pro Skin Tightening is known for it's success with Non Surgical Eye lift, Skin Tag Removal, Tummy Tightening, Stretch Marks and so much more.

The term “Soft Surgery” is used to describe the treatment because it delivers results similar to surgery, with no scalpel, stitches or bandages and minimal downtime. A minimally invasive procedure with much lower risk and at a more affordable price then actual surgery.

Beauty by Cady Nail Salon
  • The Plasma Pen Tightening method has many advantages over cosmetic surgery, which makes it an increasingly popular treatment. There is no cutting of the skin, which means that there are no stitches required, and clients can return to work much sooner.

Plasma Skin Tightening is a relatively new innovation in the beauty industry in North America but has been used for a number of years in Europe. The extremely accurate device works by utilizing the voltage in the air between its tip and the skin, to form a plasma charge. An electrical arc is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin. The tissue retraction and tightening gives results that are comparable to invasive surgery.

  • Ion-Pen Skin Tightening is able to treat a number of imperfections without any actual cutting of the skin. It can be used for:

    • Eyelid Tightening, including lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin.

    • Skin imperfections, including skin tags and sunspots.

    • Improvement in the appearance of acne scars

    • Diminishing Stretch marks.

Jet Plasma procedures

FAQS

  • It is a non-invasive/non-surgical procedure with the same or comparable results as traditional surgery. Before the treatment the topical anaesthetic is applied, ensuring a painless procedure. This innovative technique cannot cause the so-called “overlifting”, as it only damages excess/loose skin which returns to its “original state” after the regeneration phase. A partial effect can be seen immediately after the treatment. You need to wait for 6–8 weeks to see the perfect results.

The procedure can be carried out only by a certified specialist.

  • The Plasma treatment uses the fourth state of matter – plasma. Tissues treated “sublimate” and we avoid spreading unwanted heat to the surrounding areas. The principle is to ionize gases in the air to create a small electrical arch, similar to a tiny lightning bolt, with which dermal and epidermal areas, which are affected by aesthetic problems, may be treated without spreading unwanted heat to the surrounding areas.

When the electrical arch – plasma – touches the skin surface, the heat widens the acne and is transferred into the epidermis all the way to the papillary layer which contains fibroblast cells. The result is contraction and tightening of the skin cells. Consequently, the excess skin is reduced and the result is comparable to lifting or wrinkle reduction.

  • First, the topical anaesthetic (cream) is applied, minimizing the risk of pain and numbing the treated area. The anaesthetic takes effect 20 minutes after the application. The procedure itself does not last long, 20–30 minutes depending on the area. The duration of the treatment (with anaesthetic application): 60–90 minutes.

  • Plasma is a non-invasive procedure with minimal level of pain. It is virtually painless, as the treated area is numbed before the treatment. After the treatment the treated area is red (7–14 days) and some patients may experience some swelling, which may last up to 3–4 days. At the site of each spot a small crust will form. They should not be touched and you should wait for 5-10 days for them to fall off naturally. During the procedure the clients may feel some discomfort, not actual pain, depending on the treated area of the face/body.

    • Eyelid lift (upper, lower)

    • Resurfacing of wrinkled areas (crows feet, labial, nasolabial, worry lines, smile lines …).

    • Removal of different kinds of moles.

    • Ear area

  • The treatment is very safe, as it is a non-surgical procedure. It has a negligible amount of possible side effects and serious complications alike. The procedure is based on the natural stimulation of skin regeneration, so the excesses which may be seen in the world of traditional surgery are not possible.

The Plasma treatment takes a very short time, with stress on the aftercare, as, in case the client neglects the instructions for aftercare, the treated area may suffer from: inflammation, hyper-pigmentation, scarring …

    • Aftercare is one of the most important parts of the treatment. Each client has to follow the instructions for aftercare closely to achieve the perfect results:

    • Do not pick carbon crust; it will fall off in a few days

    • Clean the treated area with Octenisept twice a day

    • After the treatment continue applying the aftercare cream on the treated area as long as it is sensitive or when you are exposed to sun, as it contains SPF and protects the treated area.

    • Avoid sauna, pools, solariums or any kind of exposure to activities which present risk for infection of the treated area

    • Make sure to protect the treated area from direct sun until the skin is completely regenerated (2–3 weeks).

    • Do not apply products containing alcohol or other scents.

    • Until the crusts fall off, you may apply colloidal silver to prevent inflammation.

    • Do not cover with plasters.

  • The Plasma treatment is an exceptionally safe procedure with virtually no side effects or they occur very rarely. Possible side effects are inflammation, scarring or minor change in skin pigmentation, which is very rare. It is highly important for each client to follow the instructions for aftercare closely. Crusts which occur after the treatment are part of the treatment and will fall off after 5-10 days. Minor swelling after treating the area around the eyes is normal and will disappear after 3–5 days, depending on the client’s sensitivity.

  • Do not use makeup after the treatment, as it generally is not sterile. First 5–7 days after the treatment or until the crusts fall off, When the crusts fall off, you may apply some makeup if necessary,

  • The results are visible immediately after the treatment, but we have to inform the client that the maximum results will be visible after 3–4 weeks when the skin enters the third phase of the healing – collagen and connective tissue growth. So, results are visible immediately, but the end results follow after 3–4 weeks after the treatment.

  • It depends on the state of the clients’ skin and the desired degree of correction. The client is often satisfied after only one treatment, of course if, e.g. the wrinkles are not very deep, but due to the simplicity of the procedure and the affordable price the clients opt for two or even three treatments to achieve a perfect result. The procedure may be repeated after 4.

    Generally 2 sessions are required

  • The results of the Plasma treatment are permanent and may be visible for years. But we should acknowledge that the aging process is continuous and thus the skin ages every day after the procedure and this cannot be stopped. The results of this method are permanent, but when we talk about mimic facial lines (worry lines) these may recur quickly because muscles are stronger than the skin and consequently the lines recur.

Average results last up to 2 years

MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling is anti-ageing procedure designed to trigger new collagen synthesis in the skin, leading to younger, brighter and healthier-looking skin with fewer wrinkles. As you move the device over your skin, numerous, ultra-fine micro-needles designed to penetrate through the epidermis create microscopic punctures on the skin’s surface. By opening the skin in this way you not only dramatically increase the penetration of any topical product, increasing its efficacy, but you also create miniature perforations that stimulate the skin’s healing mechanisms, increasing production of many important factors for a healthy skin.

The concept of MicroNeedling is based on the skin’s natural ability to repair itself whenever it encounters physical damage, such as cuts, burns and other abrasions. Immediately after an injury occurs to the skin, our body reuses the damaged collagen and elastin fibres as well as other damaged skin components to produce new ones. MicroNeedling allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self repair mechanism by creating micro-injuries in the skin which trigger new collagen synthesis, yet does not pose the risk of permanent scarring.

    • The procedure is considered to be painless. Depending on the area being treated and the problem being targeted, treatment takes between sixty to ninety minutes to complete.

    • Patients should take care not to use any lotion, makeup, or topical creams on the area to be treated.

    • Before the micro-needling begins, a medical professional applies a numbing cream or local anesthetic to the area of concern.

    • Micro-punctures are being inflicted by hand in the region of most prominent wrinkles or skin changes.

    • A Phi NeedlePen System device is used to puncture the skin in a specific pattern and is used several times to maximize results.

    • Each skin puncture creates a tiny wound, which allows for skin cells to regenerate.

    • After the treatment a Phi AfterCare Mask is being applied and left to act for 20 mins.

    • Client is issued with Ultimate Skin Cocktail with detailed instructions for use.

    • It is recommended that 10-14 days pass between one treatment and the next to allow for new collagen to form completely.

    • Skin Hydration

    • Increased skin tone

    • Younger looking skin

    • Cost effective less than laser treatments

    • Skin is thickened, tightened and elasticity is restored

    • A natural response to collagen is induced

    • Can be performed on MOST skin types pigmentation marks are lightened

    • Fine lines and wrinkles are softened

microneedling

FAQS

  • It is a skin treatment procedure that involves an electric skin-needling device. The device contains 12 very fine needles. It is used during micro-needling procedures to break down old scar tissue and push skin cell generation. Cell production leads to the creation of new layers of elastin and collagen fiber and leads to improved blood flow in the skin.

  • The device slides along the skin and penetrates upper layers of the skin to a depth of 0.2- 0.75 to create tiny needle wounds. This signals the body to respond by producing collagen and elastin fibers. As a result, the skin becomes fuller, thus reducing the appearance of scars, lines, and wrinkles.

  • Some of the conditions that Microneedling is known to improve include: mild to moderate acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, skin texture and pore size, and stretch marks

  • Most people will notice redness and mild swelling similar to slight sunburn for 24-48 hours and there may be slight pinpoint bleeding and/or bruising. Skin will be noticeably smoother and more radiant within a week or two.

  • Inflammation of the skin is very temporary and reduces greatly within a few hours. It may remain slightly pink for up to 48 hours after treatment. Using hyaluronic acid after the procedure can help reduce inflammation, and sunscreen can be used to protect the skin. Makeup use should be limited to mineral makeup.

  • Some of the known benefits of Medical Micro-needling include: greatly improves topical cream effectiveness and penetration, stimulates blood circulation and collagen production, needles are non-allergenic, cost effective compared to other resurfacing procedures, works on all skin types, and can treat the scalp, face, and body, including skin around the eyes, mouth and neck.

    #microneedlingsedona

  • Microneedling is known to improve many aspects of the skin including, but not limited to: improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of wrinkles, regenerates tissue, improves the appearance of scars, reduces the size of pores, and reduces the appearance of stretch marks

  • Prior to the treatment, numbing cream is applied to minimize pain that is felt during the procedure.

  • Each patients skin condition determines the number of treatments that are needed. Moderate acne scars may need between three and four treatments, while thermal burns and stretch marks may need five. Conditions such as wrinkles caused by aging, two to three refresher treatments are recommended per year.

Micro-needling can be safely repeated every 2 weeks as needed. Collagen induction requires at least 3 treatments, while scar reduction requires between 3 and 6. Micro-needling can be used on all parts of the body (neck, decollete, arms, legs, etc). Usually results begin to appear after the first treatment.

  • No negative side effects result from micro-needling, and none have been seen in the more than 150,000 procedures that have been done worldwide.

  • AHAs (glycolic Acid), retinol, acidic or active ingredients should not be used for 2-3 days after treatment to allow for maximum healing. Sun exposure is not recommended and sunscreen is encouraged.

  • Micro-needling is safe on all skin types and colors because the epidermis is not damaged during treatment. The chance of change in pigmentation or post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation is minimal. Skin micro-needling can be used on sensitive and fragile areas (eyes, neck, back of hands) that cannot be treated easily with other procedures. Micro-needling is not suitable for patients who have used Accutane (isotretinoin) within the last three months, have open wounds, cuts or abrasions, have had radiation skin treatment within the last year, are suffering from any skin infection, condition, or herpes simplex in the area of concern, are pregnant or breast feeding, have any history of keloid or hypertrophic scars or poor wound healing

LASH LIFT

A lash lift is essentially a perm formulated for your lashes that holds the curl in place for an extended amount of time. Basically you don't have to worry about manually curling them in the morning and having to apply mascara. Unlike having eyelash extensions, you won't have to worry about allergies to adhesives and irritations, rubbing your eyes, sleeping on your face and etc. Lash lifts are even great if you like the look of strip lashes but you have naturally down facing or straight lashes and the strip lashes don’t sit right, this would create a nice curl and foundation for them if you choose to apply it over your natural ones. This treatment is most popular with Microblading for eyebrows because these two will cut your makeup time in half!

  • The process usually lasts about an hour, a consultation is approximately 10 minutes to understand what you are looking to achieve following the lash lifting treatment. Based on your answers and the length of your lashes a rod size will be chosen and service will begin.

After cleansing and brushing out your lashes a soft gel pad will be applied to tape down your bottom lashes and a silicone rod or shield will be applied on your eyelids using a safe adhesive to glue your lashes onto the rod to form the curl before applying the perm solution.

This is a 3 step process, the perm solution is left on the base of your lashes for 8-10 minutes, cleanse and the second process (neutralizer) will be applied and left on for the same amount of time. Once this is complete you can have your lashes tinted for an extra pop otherwise the Keratin will be applied and you are finished.

    • Lash lifts usually last between 6-8 weeks but depending on where you are on the cycle of your lashes you may have to come in sooner.

    • There are 3 stages in the cycle:

    • Anagen (the growth phase): The first stage of the eyelash cycle lasts between 4 - 6 weeks. Approximately 40 percent of our upper lashes and 15 percent of our lower lashes are in this stage at any given time.

    • Catagen (the transition phase): Once the lashes in the anagen phase reach their designated length, they stop growing and the follicle shrinks. If an eyelash falls out during this phase, it won’t begin growing back until phase has run its course, usually within 14 to 21 days.

    • Telogen (the resting phase): The telogen phase is the resting phase before new growth begins. Extreme stress and illness can cause the lashes or even the hair on our head to enter in this phase causing the shedding of lashes.

  • The only restriction after getting your lash lift is absolutely no water or steam on your lashes as well as no mascara during this time. After 24 hours you are fully welcome to enjoy them anyway you want!

  • The only maintenance after a lift is conditioning them a few times a week since they have been processed the key is to just keep them conditioned regularly. Coconut oil or anytime of natural oils would be fine.

LASH ENHANCEMENT LINER

Using a permanent makeup pen pigment is deposited into the lash line with the desired color. An ultra-fine needle is used for precision and gentle pigmentation. The color is brought into the skin between the single lashes and in a very thin line along the lashes. With this technique we create a fuller and deeper looking lash line without making it look like an eyeliner. This is the utmost natural form of eyeliner technique in this day. It's smudge-proof and water-proof, gone are the days when you have to worry about rubbing your eyes and smudging your eyeliner!

lash liner
    • Do not work out 24 hours before procedure. No sun exposure 7 days prior and 21 days after due to hyperpigmentation.

    • No alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before procedure.

    • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure.

    • Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes, and "Hair, Skin, & Nail" supplements two weeks prior to procedure.

    • If you currently use a lash growth serum, please refrain doing so for two weeks prior to your appointment.

    • Eyelash Extensions unfortunately get in the way of the lash line procedure and must be removed beforehand.

    • A lash lift and tint can be done prior to the lash line enhancement and is recommended a few days beforehand.

    • Contact lenses must be removed before the procedure.

    • Arnica Montana tablets are a homeopathic that can help with bruising and swelling and is safe to take before the procedure and right after.

    • Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle. These Pre-Care instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessive bleeding during the procedure will dilute the pigment and can lead to poor results!

    • Lash enhancement liner: should be cleaned several times a daily without excessive pressure with lightly moistened cotton pads. Care cream is not necessary.

    • Decorative liner: Over the first two days, the liner should be cleaned several times a day without pressure, using a lightly dampened cotton pads. If extreme sensation of tension is experienced, a thin film of Vaseline can be applied.

    • Common errors during wound healing: Hygiene during and after pigmentation is crucial, because hygiene and care errors have a significant effect on the results. External or mechanical influences on the wound during the healing process can lead to color loss and or color change. Aftercare must be followed strictly during the first 48-72 hours for optimal healed results,

    • You can expect significant fading after your initial appointment. This is completely normal, which is why a second appointment is required.

    • No makeup, especially mascara for 5-7 days after. After 5-7 days, it must be a new tube of mascara to reduce the risk of infection.

    • No gym/working out for 5-7 days.

    • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss.

    • Contacts should not be put back in for 5-7 days.

    • Arnica tablets can help to control swelling after the procedure.

    • Corneal Disease

    • Glaucoma

    • Diabetic

MICROBLADING

Microblading, also known by a variety of names such as embroidery, microstroking, feather touch and hair like strokes, is a form of Semi-Permanent Makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments. Over time the strokes can blur and fade and will need to be refreshed.

This technique is a process that may be used to improve or create eyebrow definition, to cover gaps of lost hair, to extend the eyebrows, or may be used as a full reconstruction if the brows have little/no hair. Each microblading stroke is applied individually, allowing the tattoo artist/beauty therapist to control the shape, color and density of the completed eyebrows.

The treatment begins with developing the desired shape, then using individual hair strokes or 'feathers' in the area to plot the shape and style requested. The color choice is patient-specific and is mixed using a natural selection of micropigments to complement hair color and skin tone.

FAQS

  • Microblading last anywhere between 12-18 months depending on lifestyle, skin anatomy and aftercare. Oily skin, individuals who sweat a lot will need touch ups sooner. Ideal skin type for the best results are normal to dry skin. The aftercare is vital to the final outcome, 70% of the whole process depends on your part as for aftercare. I can’t stress how imperative it is to follow the guidelines after procedure is done, this can make or break your whole procedure, Clients who are exposed to the sun daily will find that your brows will fade faster. It’s highly recommended that you use sunscreen on your brows after they are fully healed to help the longevity of your microblading service.

  • Pain is relative per individual, some people refer to the initial pain as if someone is tweezing them really slow or an annoying scratch. Clients who are close to the menstrual cycle, during, or ending it will be more sensitive then ones who aren’t. Once all hair strokes are mapped out and topical anesthetic is applied there will be little to no pain at all. Anesthetics used contains either lidocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine or Epinephrine cream/liquid, if you are allergic to any of these inform me prior to service.

  • Appointments are booked for 2 hours. The longest process in the whole treatment is drawing the shape and measuring out the brows and making it the most symmetrical as we can. It can take up to an hour to map out the shape, once you approve we will start the process. Once done, brows are masked with an ink mask for about ten minutes and then wiped cleaned and pictures will be taken.

    • Mini consultation about your desired shape of your brows and what the ultimate goal is for this procedure.

    • Map out and draw the outline of your brows, a surgical marker will be used to make sure the guidelines don’t disappear while microblading. (I will use an app to make sure both sides are symmetrical. You will get to see and approve the shape before we start)

    • Individual hair strokes are now added on each side and then anesthetic is applied before pigment filling. (At this point you will feel nothing)

    • Two passes will be made on each eyebrow penetrating between the epidermis and dermis and filling the hair strokes.

    • Mask both brows with final ink mask and let sit for approximately 10 minutes and then wipe and clean.

    • Final reveal and pictures!

  • Yes! Definitely! Most husbands don’t even notice it BECAUSE it looks so natural! Some people bruise more then others due to thin or sensitive skin. Ice packs are suggested on the night of the service. If you happen to swell, it will reside between 1-4 days. A little redness is normal.

  • It takes 7-10 days after procedure for the outer layer of your skin to be healed so that you can wear makeup and sunscreen but to fully heal from the inside out, it will take 4-6 weeks.

  • The answer to that is no, and it shouldn’t be. The reason that Microblading is called semi-permanent is based on the depth of the blade and how far it goes into the skin. The deeper the strokes the darker they will be and with the pigment mixing with the body’s natural oil, it can become blurred in time resulting in hair strokes that aren’t defined and crisp. The perfect depth allows the hair strokes to remain thin, realistic and more true to color.

  • The perfection session is done at 4-8 weeks to fill in the areas that might not have taken at the first session. At this time, we only go over hair strokes that might not be that visible or if you want a shade darker we can do It at this time. For first time clients I always suggest the lighter color as we can go darker, it’s tougher to go lighter.

  • Microblading is not done for clients who are pregnant or nursing.

    • Clients who have previous dark pre-existing dark eyebrow makeup

    • Clients who have used Accutane within the past year.

    • Clients who are on blood thinners and can’t stop taking it 7 days prior to appointment.

    • Clients prone to keloids

    • Individuals under the age of 18

    • Clients who are undergoing chemotherapy. If you would like to proceed with service, a note from the doctor is needed.

  • Microblading is $475, the 4-6 week perfection session is $100 and at that time should you want to add HD shading it will be an additional $100. Yearly refreshers are $375+ depending on the retention and the time between your last session. If you come back after 2 years and there’s no retention, then we will have to map out and start over it will then be considered a new session.
